Deep Instinct, a New York-based company combining learning and cybersecurity, received an investment from PayPal Ventures.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed. PayPal Ventures joined the existing investor base, including BlackRock, Chrysalis Investments, Millennium, Unbound, Untitled Investments, The Tudor Group, Coatue Management, and others.
The company intends to use the funds to further accelerate its growth, driven by its threat prevention technology.
Led by CEO Lane Bess, Deep Instinct is a cybersecurity company with natively architected deep learning platform to keep enterprises safe by stopping threats at a speed and scale. The solution reduces detection noise and false alert storms to reduce overall risk, improve SOC team productivity, and improve the cost of ownership of its customers’ entire cybersecurity stack.
Deep Instinct currently protects customers across North America, Europe, and APAC, with enterprise customers tripling in 2022, including strategic wins with numerous Global 2000 companies.
