Captain Experiences, an Austin, TX-based provider of a platform for booking outdoor sports guides, raised additional $2M in funding.
The round was led by consumer investment fund Bullish, with participation from new and existing investors.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth, expand operations and its business reach.
Led by CEO Jonathan Newar, Captain Experiences connects adventurers and guides for outdoor sport trips, enabling users to search it for their ideal trip, read verified reviews, and book real-time availability. Since the launch in 2020, Captain has partnered with over 1,200 quality, vetted guides while amassing over 47,000 hours booked outdoors. Focused first on fishing, the platform will soon unlock all outdoor sports and geographies.
