Asumma Raises €945K In Funding

Asumma, a Lempäälä, Finland-based startup that designs and sells single-family homes, raised €945K In total funding.

The round included €720,000 pre-seed financing led by Kiilto Ventures, and a technology grant from the European Union via Finland’s ELY Center of Northern Ostrobothnia. 

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its growth in the Finnish single-family home market, semi-automate its CLT house architecture and engineering, and further develop the tech behind its platform approach to home construction.

Led by CEO Martti Mela, CPO Vitali Balajevs and Chief Architect Pekka Airaxin, Asumma designs and sells high-quality, move-in-ready single-family homes. Its asset-light, virtual-factory model focuses on automation, sustainability, and resilient supply-chain management. Their custom, eco-friendly houses range from 20m2 to 200m2, with CLT house structures assembled in 2-3 days onsite.

The company currently operates across Finland, with European expansion on its sight line.
