Plusgrade Acquires UpStay

Plusgrade, a Montreal, Canada-based provider of ancillary revenue solutions for the global travel industry, acquired UpStay, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based provider of upgrade and ancillary revenue solutions for the hospitality industry.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

Plusgrade is continuing its growth after acquiring Points, the global leader in powering loyalty commerce, in 2022. With the addition of UpStay, the company adds hotel upgrades and other innovative ancillaries to its roster of ancillary revenue and loyalty products. Over the next few weeks, UpStay will be integrated into the Plusgrade brand, and will operate as Plusgrade going forward.

Led by CEO Tzafrir Blonder, UpStay provides advanced upgrade solutions for the hospitality industry, to enable hotels to leverage the rich variety of data points available to them and seize the opportunity to upsell additional products and services throughout the wealth of touchpoints they have with their guests. UpStay serves hundreds of hotels in 17 countries.
