Perspectum, an Oxford, UK-based precision health company which develops medical imaging tools, raised $36M in its first Series C funding.
The round, which brings the total amount raised since inception to circa $120m, was led by Oppenheimer Holdings.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its product pipeline for multiorgan inflammatory conditions and oncology.
Led by Rajarshi Banerjee, MD, PhD, and CEO, Perspectum is a medical technology company that delivers digital technologies for clinicians to provide care for patients with chronic metabolic diseases, multi-organ pathology, and cancer. With a focus on precision medicine using advanced imaging and genetics, Perspectum aims to empower patients and clinicians through quantitative assessments of health enabling early detection, diagnosis, and targeted treatment. The coverage and established reimbursement codes have accelerated LiverMultiScan’s adoption by several major US hospitals. The company is working to expand its presence across the country and grow its customer base. They announced a collaboration with Nuance, a Microsoft company, in December 2022.
