Forter Acquires Immue

Forter

Forter, a New York-based provider of a platform for digital commerce, acquired Immue, a bot detection company based in Tel Aviv, Israel.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

With the acquisition, Forter will expand its fraud prevention solution stack by:

  • Strengthening its core fraud management offering. The Immue team will join its cyber research group, improving its ability to detect device and connection manipulations.
  • Advancing its bot detection layer. Immue provides a bot mitigation layer, an undefeatable Captcha, the ability to regulate bots during hype and flash sales, and more – all capabilities Forter will build into its core platform.

Founded in 2021 by chief executive officer Shira Itzhaki, chief technology officer Amit Yossi Siva Levi and Omri Meliches, Immue helps merchants detect and prevent the most sophisticated bot attacks. Its technology allows businesses to filter out the most sophisticated attacks and authorize only certain bot-enabled transactions.

Led by CEO Michael Reitblat, Forter is a platform for digital commerce to isolate fraud and protect consumers across industries. With its automation capabilities, the company helps businesses prevent fraud, maximize revenue and deliver experiences for their consumers. The company serves Nordstrom, Sephora, Instacart, Adobe, Priceline, and other leaders across industries.
