Architect Financial Technologies, a Chicago, IL-based provider of software for trading, raised $5M in pre-product funding.
The round was led by Circle Ventures, Coinbase Ventures, SV Angel, SALT Fund, P2P, Third Kind Venture Capital, Motivate Venture Capital, Shari Glazer and Anthony Scaramucci.
The company intends to use the funds to build a team of qualified personnel and commence product development, with an initial launch expected in the second quarter of 2023.
Founded by Brett Harrison, Architect is a software company that develops institutional-grade infrastructure for trading across global digital asset markets. The company will provide institutions and large traders with customizable trading infrastructure, while interfacing with qualified crypto custodians and self-hosted wallets. The core software product will feature standardized risk, compliance, market data, and development and visualization tools.
