AppOmni, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a SaaS security platform, received an investment from TSG, as well as other funds.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed. This funding adds to the company’s Series C round announced in June 2022, and follows a strategic investment from Cisco Investments announced in August 2022.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its product roadmap and extend its leadership position in the global SaaS security space.

Its patented technology and Developer Platform enables security and IT teams to protect and monitor their entire SaaS environment, across all standard and custom SaaS applications. AppOmni deeply scans APIs, security controls, and configuration settings to evaluate the current state of SaaS deployments and compare against best practices and business intent for enhanced visibility, management, and security of SaaS solutions, which enables organizations to establish rules for data access, data sharing, and 3rd party applications that will be continuously and automatically validated.
