WhizAI, a Somerset, NJ-based provider of an augmented analytics platform built for the life sciences and healthcare industries, raised an undisclosed amount in funding bringing total funding since launching in 2017 to $21m.
The round was led by Shanda Group and AmerisourceBergen’s AB Health Ventures, with participation from Vertical Venture Partners and Healthy Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its footprint with new and existing top global pharma clients, forming new strategic partnerships, and adding to its team, the sales and marketing organization, engineering capacity and product capabilities.
Led by CEO Rohit Vashisht, WhizAI is a provider of an AI-powered analytics platform for life sciences and healthcare industry players to get access to insights empowering decision-makers to drive more informed and faster business decisions at lower cost.
Earlier this year the company was named by Gartner in five different hype cycles for natural language query, AI in clinical development and augmented analytics for life sciences. In addition, Everest Group named WhizAI a “trailblazer” in their “Life Sciences Commercial Analytics and AI Trailblazers: Top Seven Startups Creating a Buzz in the Life Sciences Commercial Technology Landscape.”
