Sküma Water Raises £300K in Pre-Seed Funding

Sküma Water

Sküma Water, a London, UK-based water purification startup, raised £300K in Pre-Seed funding.

The round was led by Jenson Funding Partners with participation from William Ripley.

The company intends to use the funds to build its D2C sales pipeline and extend its manufacturing capacity.

Founded in 2020 by Alexandre Yunus Mahe, Georges Khairallah and Tony Ho, Sküma Water is a CleanTech startup making a 100% no-plastic beverage making system. Sküma Water offers a water filter that generates minimal waste while providing consumers with electrolyte-enhanced water based on their personal needs.

The team is looking at B2B avenues with already promising conversations with a top Premier League football club seeking to cut down the use of its single-use plastic bottles. The company is also partnering with various gyms across London, providing water fountains with its customisable hydration solutions.
