iCIMS, a Holmdel, NJ-based talent cloud company, acquired SkillSurvey, a Wayne, PA-based skills verification and digital reference checking company.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

With the acquisition of SkillSurvey, iCIMS’ community of more than 4,000 customers can reduce the time and cost of traditional reference checking. Founded in 2001, SkillSurvey was backed by Primus Capital and PNC Erieview Capital.

Its reference checking solution verifies skills and delivers feedback from references in a different way than earlier in the hiring process.
