Backers included Avidity Services, Hemant Wadhwa, Rajeev Gupta, and Rajesh Bansal, Ms. Prabhdeep, Partner of The Little Seekers.
The company intends to use the funds to build technology and bolster its presence in the Indian market, along with focusing on its base team.
Founded by undergraduated Varun Bali, Raghav Bali, Lakshay Kalra and Ujjwal Pratap Singh, Bookvala is a student-led crypto trading platform for students without investment. Recognized by Startup India, the company allows senior secondary students to buy and resell their books in 3 minutes with the innovation of a coin-based system and can trade in crypto.
