Dalan Animal Health, an Athens, GA-based biotech company that deals with insect health and immunology, raised $3.55m in Seed funding.
The round was led by At One Ventures with participation from Veterinary Angel Network for Entrepreneurs (VANE).
Led by CEO Annette Kleiser, Dalan Animal Health is a biotech company committed to providing solutions to protect the pollinators and promote sustainable agriculture. In details, the company develops vaccines and biotherapeutics to improve the health and productivity of honeybee colonies.
Dalan intends to use the funds to bring to market an insect vaccine for honeybees for vaccination against American Foulbrood.
