CIVC Partners, L.P., announced its investment in OTR Transportation, a Chicago, Illinois-based, technology-enabled freight broker acting through a proprietary technology suite and network of dependable carrier partners.
CIVC invested in the company in partnership with CEO and founder Jon Braun and the OTR management team. The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The investment will enable OTR to accelerate organic growth and pursue strategic acquisitions.
OTR provides a full suite of services, including refrigerated, dry van, power only, drop trailer, and cross border, among others. The entire management team will remain in place following the transaction and Jon Braun will maintain a significant ownership position in the company.
