Tenderize Raises $3M in Seed Funding

Tenderize, a London, UK-based maker of a staking derivatives protocol, raised $3M in seed funding.

The round was led by Eden Block with participation from TRGC, Encode Club, Figment, Daedalus Angels, and other angels from Messari, Livepeer, and Steakwallet.

Led by Nico Vergauwen, Co-Founder, Tenderize adds utility to staked assets of web 3 protocols through its staking derivatives protocol. Through its protocol, users can unlock liquidity, collateralize loans and trade tokens, all while maintaining a staked position represented by an ERC20 token.

The company is working on both the front-end integrations (wallets, analytics platforms, etc.) and back-end integrations (tokens, custodial staking partners, exchanges) to show the user base a better way to stake.

Tenderize currently supports The Graph, Polygon, Livepeer, and Audius with support for the user’s favorite protocol coming soon.
