Unum ID Raises $2M in Funding

Unum ID, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a digital ID card network, raised $2M in funding.

The round was led by 1414 Ventures and Outliers, with participation from Draper Associates, and TappanHill Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to cement its position as the leader in reusable identity.

Led by Aidan and Liam McCarty, Unum ID provides a digital ID card network, which unlocks secure 1-Click sign-up, apply, and log-in across industries. Its patent pending tech leverages a Web Wallet to securely store and share digital ID – no app download or software install required. Users receive digital ID cards from issuers in under 10 seconds, and can leverage those cards to sign up instantly at any relying party.
