Snowplow, a London, UK-based data creation company, raised $40M in Series B funding.

The round was led by NEA, with participation from Databricks, Cloudflare, DataRobot, Snowplow investors, Atlantic Bridge, and MMC.

The company intends to use the funds to grow its team, accelerate support for an increasing set of data types, and scale internationally.

Led by CEO Alex Dean, Snowplow generates, enhances and models granular Behavioral Data, ready for use in AI, ML, and Advanced Analytics applications. When integrated with other tools from the modern data stack, the company can power a wide variety of advanced data applications, allowing organizations to drive significant business value with behavioral data. Today, over 10,000 companies including Strava, Software.com, Charlotte Tilbury, CNN, Datadog, MassMutual, GitLab, Capital One, Autodesk, and Axel Springer, use it to create data to power AI and advanced analytics directly from their data warehouse, lake or steam in real-time. Data applications built on top of Snowplow include composable CDPs, first-party digital analytics and ML-powered churn reduction for subscription businesses.
