LiveOak Fiber, a Brunswick, GA-based a provider of a regional broadband service, raised $150M in funding.
The round was led by InfraRed Capital Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to expand adoption of its fiber-based broadband across homes and businesses in the Southeastern U.S. When complete, the new network will provide fiber-based broadband and communications solutions throughout each region.
Led by Jody Craft, President, LiveOak Fiber is building a fiber network to deliver the fastest broadband internet to homes and businesses. The company will begin construction of the infrastructure in Q3 2022 and plans to offer initial services in Q1 2023..
