Stellate, formerly known as GraphCDN, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a platform for developers to speed up GraphQL APIs, raised $30m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Tiger Global ($25m). Boldstart ventures ($5m) provided the seed funding.
The company intends to use the funds to build the global data graph by connecting GraphQL APIs to enable innovation, efficiencies, and cost savings at scale.
Co-founded by Max Stoiber and Tim Suchane, Stellate provides a GraphQL platform that allows developers to easily speed up, manage, and scale GraphQL APIs.
The founders, Max Stoiber, who created styled-components and Spectrum (acquired by GitHub), and Tim Suchanek, author of the GraphQL Playground and first engineer at Prisma, will focus their expertise on developer tooling to make opening up APIs safe and secure as the first step toward building a global data graph.
