Verana Networks Raises $28M in Series B Funding

Verana Networks, a Chelmsford, MA-based provider of 5G radio-access networks (RAN) solutions, raised $28M in Series B funding.

The round was led by DC Investment Partners, with participation from Spark Capital, BOLD Capital Partners, Aspiro Capital, Taiwania Capital and TDK Ventures. DCIP Managing Director Mark Bulkeleywill also join Verana’s board of directors. DCIP Managing Director Mark Bulkeleywill also join Verana’s board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to commercialize its 5G RAN technology for millimeter wave spectrum and expand its R&D, marketing, sales, and technical services teams.

Led by Vedat Eyuboglu, CEO, Verana Networks is building an innovative 5G Radio Access Network (RAN) solution for service providers and enterprises that have access to licensed millimeter wave (mmWave) spectrum. The company is building a new 5G technology platform from the ground up, with purpose-built, software-defined hardware that delivers economics for dense outdoor small cell deployments.

Since its founding in April 2020, Verana has grown to over 70 employees in the United States and India.
