Boss Beauties, a NYC-based company behind the popular 10,000-NFT collection dedicated to woman empowerment, raised $4.4m in seed funding.
The round, which brought the initial valuation of $30m, was led by Offline Ventures, whose partners include Web3 entrepreneurs Brit Morin and Randi Zuckerberg, and former Apple executive, James Higa, with participation from Serena Ventures, Anu Duggal with Female Founders Fund, and Wieden+Kennedy.
The company intends to use the funds to hire talent, market its brand and build its community, expanding on its network in Web3, business, entertainment, fashion, social impact and tech.
Led by Lisa Mayer, Founder and CEO, Boss Beauties has launched 10,000-NFT collection of digital portraits capturing the empowered, inspirational, diverse women they want to see and be in the world. The company has launched the collection in eight weeks, was featured in The New York Stock Exchange, United Nations, and partnered with Mattel, Hugo Boss, Rolling Stones, among many others.
