Virdee, a Austin, Texas-based digital check-in and virtual concierge technology company, closed its Series Seed Financing of nearly $9m.
The round was led by Silverton Partners, with participation from LiveOak Venture Partners, as well as hotel technology investors DJR Advisors.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.
Led by Branigan Mulcahy and Nadav Cornbe, Virdee is an innovative software company serving the commercial real estate industry. Its API-first approach provides the most comprehensive solution of check-in/out, ID verification, payment collection, and remote support.
In October, the company announced a collaboration with Virgin Hotels to improve their digital check-in experience. It is also quickly expanding its integration network to include new names, in addition to notable existing partners such as Oracle, Infor HMS, SALTO, Assa Abloy, Dormakaba and Shift4.
