Glassette, a London, UK-based provider of online platform curating homeware from independent brands, raised £1.2M in funding.

The round, which is now valued at £8M, was led by Nigel Wray with participation from Stephanie Phair, Michelle Kennedy, Whitney Hawkings, Peter Hawkings, Adam Levine, and Fred Kooij.

The company intends to use the funds to recruit and build out the core team whilst focusing on growing its global audience by expanding into international markets, with a goal to launch to the US market by Summer 2022.

Co-founded by Broadcaster and Interiors tastemaker Laura Jackson and Daniel Crow (ex-Senior Homeware Buyer at END Clothing), Glassette is an online marketplace that enables consumers to discover new hand-selected and sourced homeware.

Launched in November 2021, Glassette now boasts over 150 brands on the platform, including Bias Editions, George Bronwin, David Perry and By Otter to name a few.

March 2022 will see the launch of an Original Art Kiosk, which will offer a safe space to discover works from talented artists.
