Weka, a Campbell, CA-based data platform for AI, raised $73M in funding.
The round, which brings the total amount raised to $140m, was led by Hitachi Ventures, with participation from Hewlett Packard Enterprise, NVIDIA, Micron, Digital Alpha, MoreTech Ventures, Ibex Investors, and Key 1 Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate go-to-market activities, operations, and engineering.
Led by Liran Zvibel, CEO, Weka provides a data platform for achieving first-to-market results in artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML), life sciences research, and high-performance computing (HPC). It is used by eight of the Fortune 50 enterprise organizations to solve the newest, biggest problems holding back innovation and discovery.
