Safe Kids AI, a Vienna, VA-based company providing a solution for keeping children safe online, raised $1.5M in Seed funding.
Backers included The Resource Group and other existing investors.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.
Led by Abbas Valliani, and Atif Bhanjee, Chief Operating Officer, Founder and CEO, Safe Kids AI has developed patented technology which intercepts online threats – including those that bypass existing countermeasures, like firewalls – and uses these instances to Pause, Reflect, and Redirect™ kids to more appropriate content and authentic human connection.
