ezCater Raises $100M in Series D-2 Funding


ezCater, a Boston, MA-based provider of corporate food solutions, raised $100m in Series D-2 funding.

The round, which brought total funding to $425m and brought post-money valuation to $1.6 billion, was led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2 with participation from Quadrille Capital, GIC, ICONIQ Growth, Insight Partners, Invus, and others.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.

Led by Stefania Mallett, co-founder and CEO, ezCater is a provider of corporate food solutions with a network of 82,000 restaurants across the US, for everything from daily employee meals to sales meetings. The service, purpose-built for business, enables companies to centralize and manage their food spend in a single, customizable platform.

Customers include JLL, RingCentral, and The San Francisco 49ers.
