Whatslly Raises $11M in Seed Funding


Whatslly, a Tel Aviv, Israel – based Conversational Sales platform that facilitates one on one customer engagement over instant messaging channels, raised $11M in seed funding.

The round was led by early-stage venture fund Zeev Ventures with participation from Sergio Fogel, base partners, and GTMfund.

The company intends to use the funds for the expansion of its services and more businesses to connect over new direct-to-customer channels.

Founded in late 2019 by tech entrepreneurs Yanir Calisar (Tel-Aviv, Israel) and Deborah Palacios Wanzo (São Paulo, Brazil), Whatslly is a comprehensive platform connecting individual and business WhatsApp with Salesforce, enabling the messaging service to play a critical role in engaging customers. The solution allows users to view known customer data in real-time, creating new leads and contacts while automatically copying chats into the CRM to enable personalization and conversation intelligence. Sales reps can review contacts’ data, instantly record chats with people as activities or cases in Salesforce, all directly from the WhatsApp chat while remaining fully compliant with WhatsApp” terms of use. Customers include Volkswagen, Subaru, Telefonica, and more than 70 other companies across 35 countries.
