TrustPoint, Inc., a Mountain VIew, Calif.-based Global Navigation Satellite System startup, raised $2M in seed funding.
DCVC made the investment. Dr. Chris Boshuizen, a Partner at DCVC and former CTO and Co-Founder of Planet, led the investment and will be joining TrustPoint’s board of directors.
The company will use the funds to grow their engineering team, mature core technologies, and advance key partnerships.
Led by Patrick Shannon, Co-founder and CEO, TrustPoint is developing a next-generation fully commercial GPS service, to achieve the performance, security, and reliability required for autonomous navigation, vital infrastructure management, and augmented reality.
