Crabi, a Guadalajara, México-based customer-focused auto insurance company, raised $4m in seed funding.
The round was led by Kaszek Ventures with participation from Tuesday Capital and Redwood Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand customer-centric insurance offering throughout Mexico and LatAm.
Led by Javier Orozco, Founder and CEO, and Daniel Bernardez, CTO, Crabi provides a car insurance that people can acquire from wherever they are, whenever they want, while only paying for what they need. The company, which obtained the license to be a risk-carrier and fullstack auto insurance company, was founded by Arnoldo de la Torre, Cristina Carvallo, Ana Elvia Sandoval, Alejandra Vazquez and Estefany Esteban.
