CH4 Global Raises US$13M in Series A Funding

CH4 Global, a Henderson NV-based company that provides aquaculture solutions, raised US$13M in Series A funding.

The round was led by DCVC and DCVC Bio. In conjunction with the funding, Zachary Bogue, Partner at DCVC, and John Hamer PhD, Partner at DCVC Bio, joined the CH4 Global board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to establish a new research and production facility in Adelaide, South Australia and bring its first commercial product to market in 2022, as well as focus on supply chain optimization to develop manufacturing capabilities to scale production in 2023 and beyond.

Led by Steve Meller, PhD and CEO, CH4 Global provides aquaculture solutions dedicated to impacting climate change. Led by a team of business builders, scientists and entrepreneurs, the company is initially leveraging proven science and technology for growing seaweed into innovative new livestock supplement that reduces methane produced by cows by up to 90%.

Founded in 2019, GH4 Global has offices in the US, Australia and New Zealand.
