EveryDay Labs Raises $8M in Series A Funding

EveryDay Labs, a Redwood City CA-based Student absenteeism company, raised $8M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Rethink Impact with participation from Reach Capital, Gary Community Ventures, City Light Capital, RedHouse Education, Edovate Capital Bonsal Capital and Copper Wire Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to scale its research-based communication tools.

Led by Emily Bailard, CEO, EveryDay Labs combines behavioral science, data science, and family engagement to reduce chronic absenteeism while empowering educators to optimize student supports districtwide. Its research-based communication tools enable district leaders to tackle other critical priorities, such as learning recovery, enrollment, and connecting vulnerable students and families to resources.

The company currently works with thousands of schools.
