Neuron7.ai, a San Jose, Calif.-based cloud-powered service intelligence software company, emerged from stealth mode with $4.2m in seed funding.
Backers included Nexus Venture Partners and Battery Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Abhishek Sharma, managing director at Nexus Venture Partners, joined Neuron7.ai’s board.
The company plans to use the new funds to expand its engineering, product, and sales teams.
Led by repeat entrepreneurs Niken Patel and Vinay Saini, Neuron7.ai helps enterprises make accurate service decisions, at scale via an AI-driven service intelligence platform that delivers service predictions in seconds by ingesting and analyzing signals across structured and unstructured enterprise data, including CRM data, technician notes, knowledge base content, product manuals, device data, and even Slack messages, as well as input from top experts.
The company works in complex service environments such as high-tech devices, manufacturing and medical devices.
