Musiversal Raises €1.36M in Seed Funding

Musiversal, a Lisbon, Portugal-based music production platform, raised €1.36m in seed funding.

The round was led by Shilling with participation from existing investors LC Ventures, REDangels and Best Horizon. In addition to the seed round, Musiversal also received €310 thousand in funding from the Portugal 2020 Program, with the support of FEDER/European Union, bringing total to €2.51m in funding to-date.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the growth of its music production as a service and quadruple the number of its users.

Created in September 2020 by CEO André Miranda, Musiveral is a platform that allows musicians and studio producers to make music production process easier, covering all facets, from mixing and mastering, to engineers, beatmakers and singers. Through a monthly subscription, it allows musicians, producers and sound engineers to participate in music recording sessions directly from home. In 2021, the platform reached the milestone of 3,000 recording sessions per month.
