FireHydrant Raises $23M in Series B Funding

FireHydrant, a NYC-based comprehensive reliability platform that allows teams to achieve reliability at scale by creating speed and consistency across the entire incident response lifecycle, raised $23m in Series B funding.

The round was led by Harmony Partners with participation from Salesforce Ventures, and existing investors Menlo Ventures and Work-Bench.

The company, which has raised $32.5m in total funding, intends to use the funds to grow the engineering team, further accelerate product R&D, customer acquisition, and international growth.

Led by Robert Ross, co-founder and CEO, FireHydrant and newly added Chris Kelly, CTO, FireHydrant is a comprehensive reliability platform that allows teams to achieve reliability at scale by creating speed and consistency across the entire incident response lifecycle. The company’s solution allows developers to resolve, learn, and mitigate incidents fighting fires faster, via alert, retrospective, tracking, communicating, and reporting on results, so they can focus on keeping business operations running smoothly.

Chris Kelly is the former director of open source and engineering enablement at Salesforce. In prior roles, he led multiple teams focused on open source, community, developer marketing at developer-focused companies including GitHub and New Relic.
