Canada Drives, a Vancouver BC-based online car shopping and delivery platform, raised $100M in funding.
The round was led by Jeffrey Housenbold’s Honor Ventures with participation from KAR Global. In conjunction with the funding, Jeffrey Housenbold will be joining the Canada Drives Board of Directors.
The company intends to use the funds to further expand its service across Canada to new markets.
Led by Cody Green, Canada Drives provides an online car shopping and delivery platform which allows customers to shop for certified used vehicles, pay in full or finance, sign all documents and have their vehicle delivered to their doorstep, as quickly as the same day.
Founded in 2010, Canada Drives has enabled over 1M Canadians to finance and purchase cars. In May 2021, the company expanded its retail model from British Columbia to Ontario, allowing customers to purchase certified used vehicles online and have them delivered home as soon as possible. This used vehicle inventory spans over 35 makes and 170 models ranging from sedans and SUVs to coupes and convertibles. Canada Drives currently has over 1,000 vehicles available for sale in BC and Ontario, and is scaling rapidly to grow that number.
