Scene Group, the Manchester (UK)-based creator of animation software Cavalry, raised £600k in seed funding.
The round was led by mobile games entrepreneurs and founders of Playdemic, Paul Gouge and Alex Rigby alongside ACF Investors.
The company intends to use the funds to continue international growth.
Founded in the UK in 2019 and led by Chris Hardcastle, CEO, Scene Group provides Cavalry, a motion design animation application for creative professionals, allowing real time playback and dynamic data driven content as well as a full suite of traditional animation tools. Its combination of features powers artists working across a wide range of disciplines including online, experimental, social, film, tv, data visualisation, illustration, and more.
