Retina Raises $8M in Series A Funding

Retina, a Los Angeles, CA-based predictive customer lifetime value (pCLV) intelligence company, raised an $8m Series A funding round.

The round was led by Alpha Intelligence Capital and Vertical Venture Partners. In conjunction with the funding, Uday Sandhu, General Partner of AI Capital Partners, AIC’s U.S.-based fund, joined Retina’s board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to:

  • drive growth,
  • continue to hire people, and
  • expand the capabilities of its digital platform with existing integrations and partners, including Facebook, Google, Shopify, Segment, and Experian.

Founded in 2017 and led by Emad Hasan, Co-Founder and CEO, Retina provides brands with an AI, machine learning, and data analytics platform to make customer acquisition and service decisions via proven insights, without using cookies or IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers).

Customers include brands such as Nestlé, Madison Reed, and Dollar Shave Club.
