Airspace Link Raises $10M in Series A Funding

Airspace Link, Inc., a Detroit MI-based provider of solutions to help FAA, state and local government agencies plan and manage integration of drones into their communities, raised $10M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Altos Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.

Led by Michael Healander, Ana Healander and Daniel Bradshaw, Airspace Link provides a cloud-based platform deployed to local communities and airports to support the safe use of recreational and commercial drone use in the region. These capabilities provide a new type of Smart City mobility infrastructure supporting the growth of drone operations, drone service providers, drone manufacturers, package delivery and air taxi in the future.

The company, an FAA Approved UAS Service Supplier (USS) of the Low Altitude Authorization & Notification Capability (LAANC), has a 20 full-time staff and has developed partnerships with over forty government agencies and municipalities in the United States to implement its AirHub™ platform for drone infrastructure.
