Entrust, a Minneapolis, MI-based trusted identity, payments and data protection company, acquired WorldReach Software, an Ottawa, Canada-based company that allows governments and travel service providers to create traveler experiences through the digital transformation of the trusted identification process for immigration and border management programs.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

WorldReach’s over 30 employees have joined Entrust with the acquisition, including founder and CEO, Gordon Wilson, who continues to lead the company as an Entrust business.

Founded in 1998, WorldReach provides solutions that focus on Digital Identity Verification and Onboarding; the Safe & Seamless Traveler Journey; and Government Travel and Citizen Services. The company has deep expertise in ICAO-compliant secure travel and identity document issuance that underpins remote digital identity and document verification solutions.

Led by Todd Wilkinson, CEO, Entrust enables identities, payments and data protection solutions for people demand who demand secure experiences, whether they’re crossing borders, making a purchase, accessing e-government services or logging into corporate networks. The company offers digital security and credential issuance solutions at the core of all these interactions.
