Polymer Solutions, a NYC-based ‘virtual compliance officer’ for SaaS, a next-gen data loss protection platform, closed a $1M seed funding.
The round was led by Tensility Ventures, Motivate Ventures, Inspiration Ventures, 10X Venture Partners & Acceleprise. Armando Pauker, Partner at Tensility Ventures, and Ed Bellis, CTO/Co-Founder of Kenna Security will join Polymer’s Board of Directors.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.
Led by Founder & CEO Yasir Ali, Polymer is a data governance and privacy platform for third-party SaaS applications such as Slack, Dropbox, Gdrive, Zendesk, Zapier, and many others. This protects against data loss and cyber breaches. The solution provides a single dashboard to configure, permission, and track usage of sensitive data across the organization to become PII, PHI, HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA compliant.
Polymer has multiple patent pending for its automated remediation technology.
