Contents, a Milan, Italy-based martech startup that uses AI technology to create and disseminate content, raised $6M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Sinergia Venture, part of Synergo Capital, with participation from Fabio Cannavale (CEO of Lastminute) and Alberto Chalon (Founder of Qwant).
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach.
Founded by CEO Massimiliano Squillace, Contents is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) martech company which leverages artificial intelligence to analyze data and create native level multilingual content attractive to users and search engines. The platform has also implemented innovative tools for trend discovery for publishers and e-commerce companies.
The technology, based on the A.I. and Natural Language Generation, allows users to obtain automatically generated content without human intervention. The proprietary algorithm is integrated into a single environment that guarantees the rapid use of tools available thanks to its simple interface. To date, the company has attracted 100k users from across the globe, with 500 data sources integrated daily, 3 billion data points processed per month and 3 million E-commerce stores monitored per hour.
The company employs a team of 50 people and is currently operational in London, Milan, Paris, Madrid and Las Vegas.
