Output, a Los Angeles, CA-based provider of a digital music production platform, raised $45m in Series A funding.
Summit Partners made the minority investment. In conjunction with the funding, Andrew Collins, a Managing Director with Summit Partners, joined the Output Board of Directors.
The company intends to use the funds for continued global growth and expansion of its digital production platform, including the addition of playable instruments and mobile applications in 2021.
Founded in 2013 by CEO Gregg Lehrman, Output provides a SaaS-based music creation platform, Arcade, which powers artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Stranger Things, Black Panther and Game Of Thrones.
