FleetOps, a Toronto, CA-based data-driven freight marketplace, raised $6m in seed funding.
The round was co-lead by Inspired Capital and Resolute Ventures, along with Hike Ventures, Basecamp Fund, Newark Venture Partners, BCF Ventures, Panache Ventures, and Brian Thomas.
The company intends to use the funds to further deploy its technology and proprietary dataset to brokerages around the globe.
Founded in 2017 by Chris Atkinson, CEO, FleetOps provides is a freight marketplace that matches truck drivers with shipment opportunities using vehicle data and AI. To secure the driver-side of their marketplace, they launch white-labelled integrations with ELD providers, and they partner with enterprise-level brokerages to secure the shipment side of their marketplace. FleetOps uses the aggregation of large data sets to produce advanced algorithms that make recommendations to drivers and fleets. They offer additional services to drivers, dispatchers, and freight brokerages that help them run their business. In addition to the funding, FleetOps is announcing new partnerships with Loadsmart, project44, and Shipwell.
