Ender, an Austin, Texas based software-enabled real estate company, raised $7m in seed funding.

The round was led by Global Founders Capital, with participation from Tuesday Capital, LeFrak, HOF Capital, Cherubic Ventures, Circle Ventures, and other VC funds and real estate groups.

Led by Jon Lonsdale, Co-founder and CEO, and Jason Mirra, Co-Founder and CTO, and newly added head of operations Jason Ellefson, Ender provides a management platform that uses smart home technology and hospitality sensibilities to bring efficiency and elevated tenant experiences to the rental market.

Everything from coordination of maintenance requests, on-demand self-showings, lease applications, background/credit checks, seamless rent collection, and accounting are all handled digitally.

The company launched in Austin and has units under management for both long and short term leasing throughout Texas.
