Shipwell, an Austin, TX-based provider of a supply chain management solution, raised a $35m Series B funding.
The round was led by Georgian Partners, including Fifth Wall, Global Founders Capital, Box Group and Aspect Ventures.
The company, which has raised $47m in funding to date, plans to expand employee headcount and open its second office in Chicago, Illinois in 2020.
Led by Greg Price, CEO and Cofounder, and Jason Traff, President and Cofounder, Shipwell provides a cloud-based supply chain management solution for shippers, 3PLs, and carriers. The announcement comes as the company releases parcel shipping alongside its traditional freight shipping modes.
Shipwell is now FedEx Compatible, allowing users to manage their parcel and freight shipping in one centralized platform.
