Evervault, a Dublin, Ireland- and San Francisco, CA-based startup that provides a platform for apps to manage data privacy, raised $3.2M in seed funding.
The round was led by Sequoia with participation from Kleiner Perkins, Frontline, SV Angel and other unnamed backers.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its dev efforts.
Founded by Shane Curran, Evervault provides a data protection API for developers to build apps with privacy within minutes.
Its tools allow developers to deploy components of their application on hardware-secured infrastructure, meaning they can keep information encrypted on their servers at all times and can focus on building their product.
