Everledger, a London, UK-based technology company focused on to building transparency, traceability and sustainability into global supply chains., completed a $20m Series A funding.
The round was led by Tencent Holdings Ltd, with participation from Graphene Ventures, Bloomberg Beta, Rakuten, Fidelity and Vickers Venture Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations.
Founded in 2015 by Leanne Kemp, CEO, Everledger is an independent technology company providing businesses surface and converge asset information, using a combination of secure technologies, including blockchain, artificial intelligence, intelligent labelling and Internet of Things.
It digitally streamlines clients’ compliance processes, to help them demonstrate the lifetime story of an asset with efficiency and accuracy.
By working with Everledger, stakeholders such as producers, manufacturers, certification houses and retailers can further evidence the origin, ownership and characteristics of their assets to conscientious consumers.
