ChartIQ, a Charlottesville, VA-based provider of a software platform for the finance world to work smarter, received a strategic investment from Citi.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed. Citi’s strategic investment will add to the company’s recent Series B funding of $17.4m led by Digital+ Partners.
Founded in 2012 by Dan Schleifer, CEO, ChartIQ is the maker of HTML5 financial charts and delivers Finsemble, a desktop integration platform that links financial applications together to create smart, modern desktops. This allows legacy software to coexist with third-party or new in-house applications.
It is adopted across the sell-side, buy-side, and by technology vendors.
The company, which also has offices in New York and London, currently serves over 300 global customers.
