Trelar Logistics (fka FlexFleet Inc.), an Austin, Texas-based logistics platform, raised $2.1m in seed funding.
The round was led by Foundamental Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate product development, grow strategic partnerships, bolster marketing initiatives and expand its team in Austin, Texas.
Founded by CEO Gary Clarke, Trelar provides a cloud-based logistics performance platform focused on the construction industry to increase capital performance, operating efficiencies, productivity, asset utilization, and visibility to improve profitability across the value chain.
Trelar is also announcing the appointment of two senior executives joining the founding team. These inclue:
– Ammad Jilani as Chief Technology Officer, and
– Laith Dahiyat as Chief Product Officer.
