720 Degrees, a Helsinki, Finland-based climate analytics startup, secured €2.9m in funding.
Backers included Pi Labs, J&T Ventures, Tekes, and angel investors from the US.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its operation across Europe, whilst developing its client presence in the US market.
Led by Rick Aller, 720 Degrees provides a cloud-based analytics solution for indoor environmental quality monitoring that applies machine learning to indoor environmental quality analytics. The system interprets billions of indoor air data points from hundreds of facilities each month, comparing this to outdoor quality and direct feedback collected from the occupants of each facility.
The monitoring tool is already being used in hundreds of facilities across Europe, with notable clients such as CBRE, Colliers and IBM.
The company also received grants from Horizon 2020 and Business Finland having been selected onto the Young Innovative Companies program. The most recent funding takes the total amount raised to €3.54 million since 2014.
